Diploma in Elementary Education: A Practical Path Into Teaching

Among colleges in Meerut, Vidya University’s D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) prepares graduates specifically for primary school teaching. This two-year program covers child development, classroom management, pedagogy, and curriculum planning, backed by hands-on internships in real classrooms. Eligibility requires 50% marks in a UGC-recognized graduation, with admission based on merit or entrance exam depending on the state. Graduates typically move into government or private school teaching roles, with strong job stability, and the diploma also serves as a stepping stone toward an M.Ed. for those aiming higher.
