Description
The Frigidaire 137353302 Lid Lock Switch detects and secures the washing machine lid before certain wash and spin cycles begin. This replacement switch is installed in the washer’s lid-lock assembly and responds when the lid is properly closed, sending a signal to the control system to confirm the locked position. Proper lid detection supports safe cycle control and prevents the washer from running selected cycles when the lid is not securely closed. A faulty switch may cause lid-lock errors, cycle interruptions, or a washer that does not start or spin correctly. Replacing the switch can restore proper lid detection and locking function. Designed for compatible Frigidaire washing machine models, this part provides a practical replacement for a worn or defective lid lock switch.
