Description
The Frigidaire 5304496284 Freezer Defrost Heater removes frost from the evaporator to maintain proper airflow and cooling inside the refrigerator freezer. This replacement heater uses electrical resistance to produce heat during the defrost cycle, warming the evaporator surface and melting accumulated frost. Keeping the evaporator clear supports consistent airflow and temperature control. A damaged or faulty heater may cause excessive frost, restricted airflow, reduced cooling, or incomplete defrost cycles. Replacing the heater can restore proper frost removal and cooling performance. Designed for compatible Frigidaire refrigerator models, this part provides a practical replacement for a worn or defective defrost heater and supports consistent temperature regulation. It is suitable for maintaining proper freezer cooling and defrost function during regular refrigerator use.
