Description
Gearboxes can develop imbalance, looseness, gear mesh problems, or other mechanical faults before a failure occurs. A gearbox vibration sensor gives maintenance teams data that can be compared with machine behavior. QI Dynamics uses QI2500 to record vibration velocity, acceleration, dominant frequencies, and temperature. FFT analysis adds frequency detail for investigating abnormal patterns. The sensor can be mounted with a magnet or threaded connection and accessed through local Wi-Fi. This supports baseline creation, trend tracking, and maintenance on gearbox assets.
