The Midea 12131000A13204 Refrigerator Ice Maker Kit produces ice within compatible 18 Cu. Ft. top-mount and bottom-mount refrigerator models. This kit contains the components required to fill, freeze, and release water as ice during the refrigerator’s ice-making cycle. When the ice maker receives the required electrical signal, water enters the ice mold and freezes. Once the ice reaches the required condition, the internal mechanism operates to release the ice into the storage area. Replacing a faulty, damaged, or missing ice maker kit can restore regular ice production and support normal refrigerator operation. This part is designed for compatible Midea refrigerator models and can replace an existing ice maker assembly affected by electrical failure, mechanical damage, or irregular ice production.
