Selecting the drying stage depends on whether the finished product is required as flakes, fine powder, instant food powder, or granules. The Potato Powder Production Plant can be configured with drum dryers for flakes and powder, spray dryers for fine powder and instant products, or fluid bed dryers for free-flowing granules. Processing can include potato intake, blanching and cooking, drying, finishing, and automatic packaging. Drum drying produces potato flakes and powder with high bulk density and good reconstitution, while spray drying produces ultra-fine powder. Fluid bed granulation provides controlled particle size and low dust. Combination plants using multiple drying stages are also available. The line includes stainless-steel food-contact surfaces, CIP systems, online moisture, particle size and colour measurement, and automatic packaging options.
