The Star 2E-Z21557 Infinite Switch is an electrical heat-control component used in compatible commercial cooking equipment. It regulates the connected heating circuit by cycling electrical power on and off according to the selected setting. This variable switching action allows the heating element to maintain the desired cooking temperature rather than operating continuously at full output. The switch is installed within the equipment control panel and connects to the associated power and heating-element wiring.
