The Star Mfg 2F-Z5949 Grill Burner produces the gas flame required to heat the cooking surface of compatible commercial grills. Gas enters the burner through its inlet and mixes with primary air before reaching the burner ports, where ignition creates the flame pattern used for cooking. The burner is positioned beneath the grill grate or cooking plate so heat transfers upward to the food-contact surface.
