Job Responsibilities
Understand software requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects.
Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
Execute manual test cases and maintain testing documentation.
Participate in test planning and review requirements for potential issues.
Perform retesting after bugs are fixed.
Assist in improving testing processes and product quality.
Prepare test reports and communicate testing status to the team.
Support automation testing activities when required.
Requirements
B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc / BCA / MCA or equivalent qualification.
0–2 years of experience; freshers with relevant testing knowledge can apply.
Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Knowledge of software testing concepts and defect life cycle.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Selenium, Postman, or similar tools is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of SQL and databases is preferred.
Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
