Description
Position: Senior AutoCAD Rebar Draftsman
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed reinforcement drawings using AutoCAD.
Develop accurate rebar detailing and bar bending schedules (BBS).
Interpret structural drawings, design plans, and engineering specifications.
Prepare reinforcement layouts for slabs, beams, columns, footings, and other structural elements.
Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and site teams.
Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, reinforcement details, and constructability.
Modify drawings based on engineering revisions and site requirements.
Ensure drawings comply with project standards, codes, and specifications.
Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.
Support estimation and quantity take-off related to reinforcement works.
Skills Required:
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
Excellent knowledge of reinforcement detailing and BBS.
Good understanding of structural drawings and construction practices.
Knowledge of rebar standards, detailing practices, and reinforcement specifications.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or related field
Experience: 3+ Years in Rebar Detailing / Structural Drafting
