Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Journal Analyst to review, analyze, verify, and process journal entries and financial records. The ideal candidate should have good accounting knowledge, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting and spreadsheet tools. Key Responsibilities Journal Entry Processing Prepare, review, and process journal entries accurately. Verify supporting documents before posting entries. Ensure transactions are recorded in the correct accounts and accounting periods. Identify and correct accounting discrepancies. Maintain proper documentation for all journal entries. Financial Analysis Analyze financial transactions and account balances. Review general ledger accounts for unusual or incorrect entries. Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Prepare financial analysis and reports for management.
