WE ARE HIRING SENIOR AUTOCAD REBAR

We are hiring an experienced Senior AutoCAD Rebar Draftsman to prepare accurate and detailed reinforcement drawings for reinforced concrete structures. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of rebar detailing, structural drawings, bar bending schedules, and AutoCAD, with the ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with engineers, quantity surveyors, and site teams. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed reinforcement shop drawings using AutoCAD based on structural and architectural drawings. Develop reinforcement layouts for foundations, footings, columns, beams, slabs, walls, stairs, retaining walls, and other RCC elements. Prepare and update Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and reinforcement cutting lists. Interpret structural drawings, design details, sections, elevations, and reinforcement specifications. Ensure correct rebar sizes, spacing, laps, anchorage, development lengths, hooks, bends, and concrete cover. Coordinate reinforcement drawings with structural, architectural, and MEP requirements. Revise drawings based on engineer/client comments and site requirements. Check drawings for accuracy, constructability, dimensions, and compliance with project specifications. Maintain proper drawing standards, layer management, title blocks, revision control, and document numbering. Coordinate with engineers and site teams to resolve detailing and reinforcement-related issues. Assist junior draftsmen and provide technical guidance on rebar detailing and AutoCAD standards. Maintain drawing records and ensure timely submission of drawings for approval. Visit construction sites when required to verify existing conditions and resolve drawing-related issues. Required Qualifications & Experience Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field preferred. 5–10+ years of experience in RCC/rebar detailing and AutoCAD drafting. Strong hands-on experience in AutoCAD 2D. Good knowledge of reinforcement detailing and construction practices. Experience preparing rebar shop drawings and BBS. Ability to read and understand structural and architectural drawings. Knowledge of relevant reinforcement detailing standards and codes. Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or high-rise projects is an advantage.
