Description
The Whirlpool W10825088 Defrost Heater melts frost from the refrigerator evaporator to maintain proper airflow and cooling. This replacement heater uses electrical resistance to generate heat during the defrost cycle, warming the evaporator area and removing accumulated frost. Proper frost removal keeps the evaporator clear and supports consistent temperature regulation inside the refrigerator. A damaged or faulty heater may cause excessive frost, restricted airflow, reduced cooling, or incomplete defrost cycles. Replacing the heater can restore proper frost removal and maintain effective cooling performance. Designed for compatible Whirlpool refrigerator models, this part provides a practical replacement for a worn or defective defrost heater and supports proper temperature control during regular refrigerator use.
