Description
The Whirlpool W10837741 Lid Strike secures the washing machine lid and supports proper lid-lock function during wash cycles. This replacement strike fits into the lid-lock assembly and aligns with the locking mechanism when the lid is closed, providing the contact point needed to keep the lid securely positioned. A worn, cracked, or damaged strike may cause lid-lock errors, cycle interruptions, or difficulty keeping the lid closed properly. Replacing the strike can restore correct lid alignment and locking function. Designed for compatible Whirlpool washing machine models, this part provides a practical replacement for a damaged or missing lid strike and supports consistent washer performance during regular laundry cycles.
