Description
The Whirlpool W10853723 Water Inlet Valve controls the flow of water into the washer for proper filling during wash cycles. This replacement valve connects to the household water supply and opens when activated by the washer’s control system, allowing hot or cold water to enter the appliance as required. Once the selected water level is reached, the valve closes to stop the flow and maintain proper filling. A worn or faulty valve may cause slow filling, continuous water flow, leaks, or insufficient water entering the washer. Replacing a damaged valve can restore proper water regulation and support normal cycle operation. Designed for compatible washer models, this practical component provides controlled water flow, reliable filling, and consistent everyday washing performance.
