Description
The Whirlpool WP2260518W Refrigerator Water Filter Cap secures the filter cartridge and maintains a proper seal for consistent water flow. It fits over the filter housing, keeping the cartridge firmly positioned while supporting the intended water pressure and filtration path. The cap reduces the risk of water bypassing the filter and maintains proper filter placement. A cracked, damaged, or missing cap may affect sealing, fit, or water flow. Replacing it restores the filter assembly’s proper fit and coverage. Designed for compatible Whirlpool refrigerators, this replacement cap provides a practical solution for maintaining a secure and properly fitted water filtration system.
