Whirlpool WP303395 Dryer High Limit Thermostat

The Whirlpool WP303395 High Limit Thermostat helps protect a compatible dryer from excessive heat by monitoring temperature and interrupting the heating circuit when the temperature exceeds its specified limit. This safety component works within the dryer’s heating system to help prevent overheating and support safe appliance operation. Under normal conditions, it allows the heating system to function as designed while responding when temperatures become too high. A faulty thermostat may cause the dryer to overheat or stop heating properly, affecting drying performance. Replacing a defective thermostat can help restore temperature regulation and maintain reliable dryer operation. Before purchasing, check your dryer’s model number to confirm compatibility and follow appropriate safety procedures during installation.
