Whirlpool WPW10156813 Microwave Door Interlock Support

The Whirlpool WPW10156813 Door Interlock Support provides a mounting point for the microwave door interlock components, supporting proper alignment of the door safety mechanism. This structural part holds the interlock components in position so they can respond correctly when the microwave door opens or closes. Proper alignment is important for the door interlock system to control microwave operation as intended. A damaged or misaligned support may affect door-switch engagement and prevent the microwave from functioning correctly. Replacing a faulty support can restore the intended positioning of the interlock components and maintain the function of the door safety system. This replacement part is designed for compatible microwave models requiring this support component.
