Description
The Whirlpool WPW10404412 Dishwasher Door Latch Assembly is a vital safety and structural component designed to keep the appliance door securely closed while preventing leaks during active wash cycles. Mounted inside the top panel, it mechanically catches the door strike and triggers internal safety microswitches to complete the electrical circuit required for cycle initiation. By ensuring a tight, reliable seal and preventing mid-cycle openings, it stops water leakage, avoids accidental shutdowns, and protects surrounding cabinetry from moisture damage. Engineered to exact original factory standards for a precise fit and long-term durability, this genuine replacement component provides an effective solution to resolve unlatching issues, fix unstarted cycles, and restore safe daily performance.
